Rehabilitation Shoes
After foot surgery, you often have to wear special shoes for a period of time, namely rehabilitation shoes or post-operative shoes. These shoes ensure that you can start moving again immediately after an operation, or if your feet are injured. The shoes protect and support your feet and relieve any injuries. The choice of the right shoes is always done in consultation with the surgeon. Here you can discover our shoes.
Reimbursement of rehabilitation shoes
With rehabilitation shoes you cannot enjoy a reimbursement from your health insurance company.
Different types of rehabilitation shoes
FPR shoe
After a foot operation, the forefoot or heel often needs to be relieved while walking. The FPR shoe ensures that the pressure on the front part of the foot is reduced. This shoe fits both left and right and is filled with soft material for enough comfort.
Darco shoe
Just like the FPR shoe, a Darco shoe serves to relieve the forefoot or heel. These also exist with a full sole, intended for stability and shock and pressure distribution after an operation.
Plaster shoe
Plaster shoes have been developed to offer patients with a leg plaster more comfort. The sole provides sufficient cushioning in the places where this is needed, and the shoe can be easily removed from the foot.
